Purchase a dishwasher under two months ago and it’s faulty. Rang them this morning as its under 6 months old and they will not replace it. They said ring the manufacturer.
The consumer rights act has changed and clearly states:

he Consumer Rights Act 2015 has now given us the right for a full refund if an appliance is faulty, unfit for purpose or not as described within the first 30 days. You must reject the product quickly though, as soon as anything is noticed.

Faulty under 6 month The onus is now on the retailer to prove that a fault on a new appliance within the first 6 months is not an inherent fault. In other words unless they can prove otherwise it will be automatically assumed that your appliance had a fault when it was sold if it fails in the first 6 months. s old?

ou should be entitled to compensation or even a refund. Most retailers will still try to fob you off though. Many have a voluntary exchange policy of something like 28 days during which they will swap an appliance over out of “good will” if it fails inside the period. But after that they can be quite stubborn about it

Any exchange policy is in addition to your rights and nothing to do with consumer rights at all. They might say they can’t exchange a faulty machine after this period, but if it is under 6 months old and has a fault you need to tell them they sold you a faulty product. That is in breach of the Consumer Rights Act
I’ve always purchased off this company- never again especially when I get a guy who has worked there 7 years and he has lots of people trying this. I really don’t think this company know the change in the consumer act!

Once you’ve bought the item that’s it there not interested one bit if it’s faulty or anything wrong with it.
I’ve spent alot of money on a faulty fridge freezer and there just passing me on to the boss Stuart who never seemingly there.
For a boss who’s supposedly running the show is never there. Never rings back to sort it out. Over 3 months now trying to sort it.
Once they’ve got your money there happy that’s it.
So if you do buy there, fingers crossed it works

Excellent service from a local company - far better than the major retailers I tried. Next day delivery, and helpful drivers took the appliance up to the 2nd floor with no issues at all.

Just got a new washer as my old one gaveup. Next day delivery and took old one away. Really good price highly recommend also free delivery. Life savers can’t cope without a washer.

Rang them to order a new washing machine. Staff member pleasant and helpful. He suggested one that does exactly the same for £30 less, and not only are they delivering it on Monday, they're taking away the old one for free.
